OranSence decouples the traditional RAN stack into independently deployable microservices — O-CU-CP, O-CU-UP, O-DU, and O-RU — each containerized and orchestrated via Helm charts on any CNCF-conformant Kubernetes cluster.
The platform ships with a built-in near-RT RIC and xApp SDK, enabling real-time radio resource management, interference mitigation, and AI-driven beam management without vendor lock-in.
Designed for multi-vendor interoperability, OranSence has been validated at O-RAN Alliance PlugFest events and supports 3GPP Release 17 and Release 18 feature sets.

Central Unit — Control Plane
Handles RRC and PDCP-C functions. Horizontally scalable across availability zones with active-active redundancy.

High-throughput PDCP-U and SDAP processing. DPDK-accelerated data path with SR-IOV support for line-rate performance.
Distributed Unit
Real-time L1/L2 processing with FlexRAN PHY library integration. Supports split 7.2x and split 8 fronthaul interfaces.
Radio Unit Interface
Open fronthaul M-plane and C/U-plane management. Compatible with major O-RU vendors via eCPRI and IEEE 1914.3.
Near-RT RAN Intelligent Controller
E2 interface with xApp lifecycle management. Sub-10ms control loop for dynamic spectrum and resource optimization.
